Senbon Torii is a massive, 4-kilometer tunnel made of thousands of red torii gates. They are part of Fushimi Inari Taisha, a shrine dedicated to the god of rice and prosperity.
It took a couple hours, but we made it to the summit. As each gate represents a threshold into a new world, each step felt like an adventure. Anwell made sure we enjoyed the journey--by stopping for every bug he found.
