The Golden Globe-nominated star Meryl Streep is joined on the red carpet by co-stars Emily Blunt and James Corden for the gala screening of her film Into The Woods
She may have been nominated for dozens of awards over the years, but Meryl Streep finds it exciting every time.
"It feels very special. I have to pinch myself that this is my life" she said at the London premiere of her musical "Into the Woods" when discussing her nomination for this Sunday's Golden Globes.
Into The Woods follows the Baker and his wife around a fairytale land as they struggle to complete challenges set by the witch in order to lift a curse she has put upon them.
Emily Blunt is also nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as the baker's wife in the musical, said she expects the awards ceremony to be fun.
"Excited. It's nice. I mean it's always fun the Golden Globes because I think it's a bit - probably because everyone's trashed on table wine," said Blunt.
Into the Woods was adapted from composer Stephen Sondheim's musical, which has had two Broadway runs and two West End runs since 1987.
The film, which meshes together a number of classic fairy tales, features an all-star cast, including Streep as The Witch, Johnny Depp as The Wolf, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Prince Charming and Tracey Ullman as Jack's mother.
It's nominated for three Golden Globes including Best Picture (Comedy/Musical), Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Blunt and Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Streep.
Into the Woods is released in UK theaters on January 9.
