Jacob Eason shined in his debut for Georgia, coming off the bench to throw his first career touchdown pass. Eason is a true freshman, a five-star recruit, and was the quarterback Kirby Smart turned to when the game was on the line in the 4th quarter. Eason finished 8-for-12 with 131 passing yards and the one touchdown. No. 18 Georgia outlasted No. 22 North Carolina 33-24 in Eason's debut.
