The 3rd in a series of Vegan Lunches That Will Make Your Friends Jealous: Jackfruit 'Tuna' Sliders! These vegan 'fish' burgers are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and completely delicious and made with healthy ingredients. The flaky texture of jackfruit gives them a realistic texture while miso and nori imbue a delicate seafood flavour. I ate jackfruit as a kid in both sweet and savory forms and can taste it a mile away. If you don't mind that flavour then do your thing. I rinse mine at least 3 times. Usually more. **Isn't the core edible? Aren't those pods ok?** It's up to you but I find the core too tough for this recipe and the pods are super ew imo. You can use the tough cores in other jackfruit recipes where the jackfruit is cooked more so it can get soft.
