ISO PC-283 meeting in Trinidad. Hosted by IOSH

Health and safety professionals from around the world met in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to discuss the draft version of a new international workplace health and safety standard. The event was hosted jointly by IOSH and the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards and saw delegates split into groups to examine different clauses of the proposed standard. The IOSH Caribbean branch hosted a branch meeting during the event, while Senator the Honourable Vasant Bharath – Minister for Trade, Industry, Investment and Communication – was special guest at a gala dinner.
