The AnyTone at-d878uv is the newest dual-mode, dual-band radio on the ham radio market. It comes on the heels of the wildly popular AnyTone at-d868uv. However, is it worth the increased price? There have been some great blogs that show the AnyTone D878 is just a reflashed D868, and that appears to be true. W0RMT (Bud) has successfully flashed his AnyTone D868 and it works great using the D878 firmware. Another clue showing the AnyTone 878 is the same hardware.
