Thrand and Kati test the famed Gallowglass sword right out of a 16th century depiction. It is an Irish Two handed, Heavy longsword or Claymore. Thrand test the idea presented in Giacomo di Grassi's True Arte of Defence text on fencing from the late 16th century about warriors swinging the two handed swords in big sweeping arcs to keep multiple opponents at bay.
