Investigating Terrorist Financing

The House Committee on Financial Services recently held its first hearing of the Task Force to Investigate Terrorism Financing. The threat of terrorism is continually evolving, with an increasing number of groups around the world threatening the United States and its allies. Many of these groups are utilizing diverse methods to generate and move funds to support their activities and organizations. This hearing focused on the major terror groups currently operating across the globe to obtain an overview of the terrorist threat and methods of terror financing.
