The new Raspbian preloaded java 1.8.0. By default, both java and java are in PATH, but no JAVA_HOME set, if you need set JAVA_HOME, refer to the updated post "Set JAVA_HOME for Raspbian pre-loaded java 1.8.0" (http://helloraspberrypi.blogspot.com/2015/03/set-javahome-for-raspbian-pre-loaded.html).
