Addendum: Another thing I wanted to mention but forgot is that I was actually doing really well for growth until the moment I first got partnered, and then my views started to taper. Then I even took that hiatus in 2014 and was *still* getting regular subs, until I started putting Subscribe buttons on the videos, then new subs fell off a cliff. I don't wanna come off as nonscientific, here, but, yeah - the less damn you give, the better you do, that's what I say (unless the damn is given in excitement rather than desperation, of course). Sand runs out of a clenched fist and all.
