This is part of a 10 part series which is a look inside my ESL/EFL classroom at a Korean hogwan. This video focuses on a few methods I use when reading instructional level texts with kindergarten students. The entire series documents pre-k through 7th grade at a hogwan in South Korea. This first video focuses on classroom management for pre-k English language learners. The other videos are divided into two groups: reading and writing. In them, we look at how to use quality stories in order to help the students receive and produce language. We begin with the youngest students and work our way up. These videos provide you with an opportunity to observe the students' learning within each lesson. It also allows you to see the developmental differences between the children's ages. I suggest that you watch the videos in order.
