Influence of Contextual Factors and Individual Differences: A Guided Discussion

Duration: 32 minutes Presenters from the afternoon break-out sessions come together to share the themes and ideas discussed during the Spirit of 2044 pre-conference’s groups. The themes discussed in the afternoon break-out sessions included schools and neighborhoods, conceptualizing ethnic and racial issue constructs in diverse samples, and immigrant families. The Spirit of 2044 pre-conference was organized by the SRCD Ethnic & Racial Issues Committee (Dawn P. Witherspoon and Gabriela Livas Stein), in collaboration with the SRCD Equity and Justice Committee and the SRCD Asian, Black, and Latino Caucuses.
