Infinite Museum - a virtual exhibition in UNITY 3d

The aim of this project was to construct an exhibition space that serves as a showcase for a range of visualization techniques. The result is the Infinite Museum, an interactive application that allows players to visually explore exhibits (images, movies, 3D models, animated objects) and the complex network of relations between them. Instead of relying on a pre-built exhibition space the Infinite Museum dynamically constructs a map of rooms whose topology is a result of both player choices and pre-defined exhibit relationships. The application was built in Unity, a 3D game engine, and includes assets built in a range of 3D modeling software packages. The exhibition incorporates visualizations that were produced as part of taught courses, while the project itself was made in the context of the visualization course by Andrew Hudson Smith and Martin Austwick, in the mres ASAV 2011. team members: Martin Dittus, Mohammad Al Masum, Ian Morton, Flora Roumpani. music: Dousk. for more info: http://en-topia.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/unity-3d-infinite-museum.html
