Gandhi on Wednesday accused BJP Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi of projecting a "false image" of future development in India. Approximately 814 million Indians will cast their vote in what is the 16th parliamentary election, taking place over nine different phases until May 12. The newly elected prime minister will be the first ever born after India's independence from Britain in 1947.
