Impact Crater Demo

What causes the craters on the moon? This demonstration varies the mass of impactor to see the resultant impact crater and ejecta. Students will complete this activity in a lab. In addition, students will quantify their observations by measuring the crater diameter and depth as well as length of ejecta rays.
