"I'll wait for you" he said. Roxas and Kairi were happily together, until Sora, their best friend, became terribly sick. So sick,no one knew when his life would end. That is when Sora admits his feelings for Kairi, saying his last wish was to be with her until the end of his life. Kairi, being as kind as she is, couldn't say no, while Roxas couldn't stop her. Roxas feels alone, empty. He feels like his life lost its purpose. All he has from Kairi, are memories and the lucky charm she gave him. He doesn't want his best friend to die. Yet he needs her.
