Idol Culture Presentation - Jacksonville Anime Day (2019) (partial upload)

This video was made to be a primer into "idol culture." Japanese Idols 101, as it were. I made this to present to my local anime convention to spread the word about idols. I include mainstream examples of idols like matsuda seiko, yamaguchi momoe, akb48, morning musume, and momoiro clover z. This video aims to help explain idols by letting the idols do their thing and consists almost entirely of live performances of idol, both in real life and in anime. This video is full of fan calls, cuteness, and great music. This video hopefully illustrates how connected the anime and idol worlds have been for the last 30 years.
