I LOVE Faber Castell Aquarelle Pencils: A Review

This is a product review for Faber Castell Aquarelle Art Grip pencils. In this example, I use the Aquarelle pencils with mixed media. The media I'm using is Schmincke watercolor with Faber Castell Poloychromos and of course, the Aquarelle pencils. The Aquarelle pencils themselves, are extremely versatile in the way that they offer many different options of use. The first option is that you can draw on the paper as a regular pencil. You can then with a brush, add some water to create a beautiful gradient effect. This is especially useful when you're blending different types of media. The second option is to use the pencils on already damp paper, this creates a soft color effect. The third option and my personal favorite to acheive a rich pigment is to wet the paper with water and use the pencil to color in. I really enjoy how the pencils draw with a smooth yet thick texture onto the paper. Overall, I am really happy with this product and would recommend it to all fellow artists out there!
