iProjector brought the streets across the U.K to a standstill, in a guerrilla projection campaign to launch the hottest movie of the year "I Daniel Blake" by Ken Loach.
Kommando Experiential Marketing used NomadiX Media and their iProjector, which is the worlds’ only wearable projections system. Designed to cut through and capture attention on the move with super-bright projections.
Brief
To promote the launch of Ken Loach’s latest masterpiece and winner of the Palme d’Or 2016 “I, Daniel Blake” across the UK.
The aim was to:
- Raise awareness of “I, Daniel Blake” across throughout the UK.
- Generate PR interest and media attention.
Solution
Kommando used NomadiX Media's iProjector and roamed throughout iconic locations throughout the United Kingdom. We projected onto buildings and political landmarks using our latest outdoor iProjectors
The “I, Daniel Blake” video was accompanied with the films hashtag #WeAreAllDanielBlake and was trending throughout the UK during the time of the projections.
The mobile technology was particularly useful for generating mass media attention thanks to the high quality engaging content and ability to pop up anywhere around the cities, in key locations.
Result
The projections generated exposure through the use of experiential marketing and mass media attention thanks to their stand out from a crowded environment, mobility, engaging content and careful selection of and implementation at locations.
