HungryFATChick at the Burger Delight in Gonzales, LA

SSBBW Candy here, I was passing through Gonzales, La today, and just had to stop for a Double Bacon Cheeseburger at a local favorite for juicy homemade Cheeseburgers, Burger Delight. They've been serving up Burgers and smiles, since 1971. They have delicious thick milkshakes, the best burgers in town, and always give a generous portion of fries. They only serve large. Lots of great food was had. I had a large Double Cheeseburger with the works, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle relish, and mayo, with 2 half pound patties with melted cheese, making this burger a huge undertaking. I got the Chili Cheese Tots, and was expecting just a little more, so I had to order fries to. I forgot to order them!!! Can you believe it!!!?? Thomas, just mentioned that he should have anticipated my desire for fries. I always have to have the fries!!! I also just had a French Fry epiphany! I ate them with Ketchup, when I should have ordered some Mayo like the guy ahead of T at the counter did. FATTY FAIL!!! The whole meal was a little pricey, but a great meal none-the-less, and worth stopping for. It's right off of Airline Hwy, or Hwy 61, in Gonzales, LA. If nothing else stop there for a taste, just because it's been around so long, and it's an obvious favorite with the locals. The burgers always get rave reviews, not just from this Fatty. The burger didn't look all that great imo, but the taste, was sublime! I've eaten these burgers for over 20 years, and the taste is still the same, and still rockin! The Chili Cheese Tots, were delishus! I think the Chili was just a little over-rated in some of the other reviews I've read, but was still very good Chili. The Strawberry Milkshake was super thick and creamy, with big chunks of real Strawberry in it.. omg! The Fries, again, were delishus, but would have been better with Mayo, for me at least. They were those soft, salty, and greasy ones.. so effin good!
