Spain: Hundreds strip naked for 'women empowerment' photoshoot in Valencia *EXPLICIT* Hundreds of men and women stripped in central Valencia on Saturday, to participate in a photoshoot by a famous nude photographer Spencer Tunick. "With these works there was an abstract narrative throughout — women empowerment and sort of a new beginning. Not so much equalising the men and the women but actually the women rising above the men as the wiser of the two sexes," explained Tunick. The US artist said that the photoshoot was on the initiative of the IntraMurs cultural festival, traditionally taking place in the old part of Valencia. Tunick, a New York based photographer, has in the last 20 years created over 90 art installations in some of the most culturally significant places and landmarks around the world, including the Sydney Opera House, the Place des Arts in Montreal, Mexico City, and the Ernest Happel Stadium in Vienna. 30.0.2019
