HS Basketball: Gahanna vs Northland [DISTRICT FINAL] [3/14/15]

Down 14 with 2:25 to play, Northland began arguably one of the greatest comebacks in high school basketball history. Gahanna (22-4) was on fire to start, leading the Vikings (20-5) 23-2 early in the 2nd quarter. Northland fought their way back and in the final two minutes would hit five triples to get within 1 point of Gahanna with 19.5 seconds left. After Gahanna made 1 of 2 free throws, Northland's Seth Towns drew a shooting foul from beyond the arc with 4.7 ticks remaining. Towns gave the Vikings their first lead of the game, going 3 for 3 to give Northland a 66-65 advantage. Jenisys Battle was not able to get a successful shot off for Gahanna as the #2 seed fell to their rival in the District Final.
