Under the directions of Elden Seta, Rhona Barbosa and Grant Otomo, The 2005 Moanalua High School "Na Menehune" Marching Band and Color Guard is proud to present their 2005 Program, "Pirates!!!" arranged by Gary P. Gilroy of California State University, Fresno. First performed by the Fresno State "Bulldogs" Marching Band in 2003, The Moanalua "Menehune" Marching Band is the first High School Band to perform "Pirates!!!" before it was introduced to other marching bands for purchase across the United States in 2006. The Marching Band is known for its "extreme precision and discipline" and has been said to be one of the top 10 marching bands in the country by visiting adjudicators.

Movement III. "Search for the Hidden Treasure" (Percussion Break & Color Guard Feature)

Led by Drum Majors, Dominique Wijaya & Christopher Smith
The Ensemble is comprised of:
25 Trumpets / 12 Mellophones / 16 Trombones / 6 Baritones / 13 Tubas / 5 Snares / 4 Tenors / 5 Bass / 5 Cymbals / 20 Pit Percussion / 59 Clarinets / 27 Flutes / 11 Alto Saxophones / 8 Tenor Saxophones / 30 Flags / 12 Rifles
