HP ENVY 23 corrupted firmware BIOS fix

Please like the video and leave a comment :-) Issue: HP ENVY 23 showing nothing on the screen when switched on. Did some reading online, and decided to share the way I got it to work. Hardware: CH341A SPI firmware BIOS programmer, jumper wires. Software: CH341A Programmer version 1000.00 Driver: CH341 USB EPP/I2C/SPI... chip V2.2 06/05/2009, 2.2.2009.06 Windows 10 x64 HP ENVY 23-d039 HP BIOS ROM Family SSID 2ADC 8.16 Rev.A sp67050.exe used for recovery 8.17 Rev.A sp70474.exe was the latest release as of Nov 2016. Flashed normally in Windows just to be sure the MEI firmware gets flashed properly as well. I noticed that the Windows key was missing from the firmware/BIOS, after recovery. Making a copy of the BIOS might be a good idea, before erasing/flashing it with the programmer, to recover the key, if needed. Not important in my case. Another weird thing is the CMOS battery was completely empty, 0v on the multimeter. Replaced it, and will see how it goes.
