How Traffic Police Deals With The Locals and Tourists??

How Traffic Police Deals With The Locals and Tourists??У вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5
People don’t follow the traffic rules hence we have traffic police to monitor the traffic, be it rain, winter or a blistering sunny day. However many times they have been unsuccessful in doing their work, but have worked to reap their own benefits. Many traffic police were caught taking a bribe or harassing the locals, and tourists alike, and issuing challans causing traffic snarls. Surprisingly, they confiscate two-wheelers parked in the no parking areas of the Panjim city, but they ignore the other things, like double parking whole day on the 18th June Road, which cause traffic jams and inconvenience. The double parking in the city, parking reserved for differently abled persons and parking on the zebra crossing is a regular affair. Many people are seen parking at such places, but no action is taken against them. The traffic police only seem to be interested in issuing the day’s challans to the violators. People complain of being harassed by the Traffic Police by issuing Challans despite following the traffic rules. This has left a bad impression on the tourists visiting Goa and getting harassed by them.
