How to use the Lego Mindstorms NXT as remote control for the Mindstorms EV3

By default, it is not possible to use the Lego Mindstorms NXT as remote control for the Lego Mindstorms EV3. Unless ... you use my application "NXT to EV3 Connection Hub" written in Microsoft C#. Both the NXT and the EV3 are connected to a PC using Bluetooth. The application is responsible for transferring and translating the messages between the NXT and EV3.
