Following a vegan lifestyle for nearly 8 years has presented challenges at certain times, especially family and social events. I used to really struggle and slip up at times, but I eventually found a way to stay vegan 24/7 100% of the times. These are my tips for staying vegan in the face of social or family pressure. If you follow this advice, you'll have happy vegan holidays, vegan vacations, vegan family dinners, and any other social event that could potentially push you off your vegan diet. No matter the amount of peer pressure my decision to follow the most peaceful path we know of, the healthiest path we know of, the most sustainable path we know of ALWAYS trumps my desire to 'fit in' with the group.
