If you cannot figure out the caliber the gun in which you are working on, you better just hang up your glock armorers certificate because any gunsmith worth his sauce can do this with his eyes closed and with great precision. Many milsurps and older guns were not marked in any way, so, determining the caliber of bore and chamber dimensions is critical in proper loading and shooting of a gun.
