How to reset service light / service indicator / oil service / service maintenance on Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168 (1997 – 2004) in 6 simple steps. STEP 1: turn the key in the second position (don’t start the engine) STEP 2: press immediately and very fast on the “000.0” button twice STEP 3: turn the key off STEP 4: turn the key in the second position STEP 5: press and hold the “000.0” button for few seconds until the service interval is reset STEP 6: release the button and turn the key off The next service interval it will be reset after 15.000 km. If you want to check if the service light / oil service was correctely reset, turn the key in the second position and see if the keys still appears on display.
