How to Reset a BIOS or Admin Password - Type the system password - Dell Optilex

The option to boot from the CD-Rom drive was locked by an admin password. Error type the systrem password and press ENTER Enter password What I show in the video will reset the Admin password which will allow you to re-install a new OS on the computer. This should also reset a BIOS password. There is another way which involves removing the CMOS battery - it's not a guarantee and takes much longer. I can record a video to show this if it would help - just let me know.
