Timing belt replacement: 2 to 4 hours ($240 / $575 / $750)
This video will show you how I replaced the timing belt on a 2008 Kia Rio with a 1.6L I4 motor. My guess is that it would take a DIY'er 3 hours to do with my information. If you are a fast worker, you can do this job in 2 hours. Should work on cars from 2005 through 2011. May also apply to the Hyundai Accent.
This is an INTERFERENCE MOTOR. If the belt breaks while the motor is running, it will destroy the head and maybe the pistons to.
