How to Remove Room Tone from your Audio - No Echo!

Sometimes the only mic you have available is the on camera mic. Unfortunately, this can make you sound like you are in a box with a lot of echo. My friend Larry Becker turned me on to a plugin called Deverberate. It is simply MAGIC and works I'm just now learning all the ins and out but the default settings are outstanding - and they get better from there. Room tone is the little echos and reverb that plagues audio that has bee recorded too far from the sound source. An on camera mic is a great example. Deverberate by Acon takes any and all forms of reverberation out of your audio. It's a VST plugin so it works well with Audition and audacity.
