How to Remove Followers on Instagram | Instagram Guide Part 7

If you have someone annoying you on Instagram or want to get rid of followers who never engage with your posts, we’re here to help. Watch this video to learn how to remove Instagram followers without blocking. Instagram has added a new feature that allows users to remove people from their list of followers without having to block them. Previously, blocking was the only way to remove someone from your followers list, unless you were okay with asking that user to unfollow you. With this new feature to remove followers, you can essentially make people unfollow you without them knowing, and without blocking them. Let’s get into the instructions to remove a follower. To remove a follower on Instagram, open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap Followers. Now, scroll through your list of followers until you see one you want to remove, or search for their username with the search bar at the top. When you find the user you want to remove from your followers list, tap the three dots to the right of their username. Then tap Remove. The user you’ve selected will then be removed from your list of followers and they will no longer be following your account. They will not be notified that you’ve removed them and they will not be blocked, so they could follow you again in the future if they want.
