1. First of all, buy a non- judicial stamp paper from e- samparak or from stamp vendor which is located in your residential location.
2. Draft the WILL
3. Normally, you would do it on a INR 100 or 500 stamp paper.
4. Reach out to the office of registrar (also called sub- registrar office) nearby your residential location.
5. Each region within your city may have different offices.
6. Office of registrar would need 2 witnesses to sign the WILL in front of the registrar. (Physical presence is required)
7. It is advisable to carry all the documentary proof documents like address proof, Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card, Passport in original along with their photo-copies.
8. Registrar will click and store picture of executor of WILL and the witnesses in the govt. records.
9. Registrar will keep a copy of WILL in govt. records and provide one to you with his office registry stamp.
10. At this time, your WILL becomes registered WILL.
