This tune is great for beginning through advanced players, because the main riff is a pretty simple slap riff to start with, but the bass solo is more complex for advanced students. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that besides slapping really hard, I used the "Modern Rock Bass" preset in Garageband to get Flea's tone (or close to it). My pickups are balanced down the middle, and I've got the bass EQ boosted a little bit on my bass.
