In today's video, I will show you how to completely replace the crotch on a pair of men's denim jeans. Alex had big muscly thighs, so the inner thigh of his denim is often the first thing that wears out. In this video, I cut the whole crotch out of the pair of jeans, and replace it with new denim that I harvested from an even older pair of jeans. I then sewed the new denim into the jeans, and added some Visible Mending in hand embroidery to jazz it up. After a wash and dry, the patch is much less noticeable, but still has a cool "sashiko" look to it, which is what I aimed for.
