How to make your own half stack!

I took the amplifier unit out of my Line6 SpiderII 30 combo and put it into a plywood chassis "head", screwed it together, and covered with red duct tape. Then, I took the remaining box of the combo and made it into a 1/4" accessible 1x12 speaker cabinet. How does it work? On the amplifier, I connected a female 1/4" bolt-on style guitar connector to the ends of the wires coming out. Polarity: black wire= positive/tip, red wire= negative/sleeve. On the cabinet, the same connector and polarity pattern is used. The 2 are connected via 1/4" standard instrument cable. Make a half stack out your combo and jam on!!!
