How to make Quiche Crust - Crust recipe for sweet or salty fillings Recipe for 3 baking trays with 28cm Ø (ca. 885g) (245kcal/100g) Ingredients: 3 cups Flour (500g) 1 tsp Salt (10g) 1 piece/block. Butter (250g) 125ml Water (125g) Preparation method: - Give the flour and the salt into a bowl and mix them. - Add the butter (cold) in small pieces into the flour. - Rub the flour and butter in between your hands until they are mixed together. - Add the water and form a dough, do not knead the dough too much. - Cut the dough in three pieces and wrap them in cling film, form the dough into a ball after wrapping. - Cool down the dough for 1h in the fridge or freeze it for later use. - Unwrap the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin, fold it and put it on a greased baking tray. This dough can be used for many dishes, it can be topped with sweet or savoury ingredients to make a quiche or pie for example. Preparation time: 15min Start to Finish: 15min Shelf life: Dough can be kept in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or for up to 6 months in the freezer.
