These druzy rings are a great way to dress up a regular band or stackable ring.
For all the projects in the tutorial I used 2 feet, 24 gauge wire and 1, 10 mm druzy bead and a band ring.I bought the druzy beads at Artbeads.com
If you want to learn how to make a stackable ring there are links below. Kate Richbourg is a pro at metalsmithing and I learned everything I know from her. I would encourage you to check out the links for resources for more information on torches, and soldering. Her blog is http://katerichbourg.blogspot.ca
She has some free tutorials on Craftsy too:

Her tutorials taught me all I know about soldering. To be honest before I watched her videos I was terrified of torches and that the torch might blow up and set the house on fire, thankfully I got over my fear and can now do as many projects as I like with ease. See you next time:) Denise
