I heard horror stories of Bitcoin getting hacked and moved and never being seen again. There are extremely secure and safe ways you can use, like using a paper wallet or a cold storage device, but to me that seems like too much trouble. Bitcoin is supposed to be online right? If we keep it on a piece of paper it seems to defeat half the purpose. Plus what happens if you lose the paper? What happens if there is a fire? All in all I feel much better letting someone else hold my Bitcoin and implementing security measures to make sure it isn't hacked. With this trick you can store your Bitcoin safely online. Essentially it just puts a 48 hour hold on all transactions. This way you can verify if your Bitcoin is being hacked or not before it moves to another address. It also utilizes two email addresses to make it extra secure and safe. I would get one email address that is totally new, and no one knows about. Make sure it has a different password. Don't use it for anything but Bitcoin. This way even if your primary email is hacked, the hackers will not be able to verify with your second email address and your Bitcoin will stay safe and secure. It's not 100% hack proof, but it is as close as you can get online in my opinion!
