Today I'm going to show you how to install the Lund Genesis Elite Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover onto this 2014 GMC Sierra. All right guys. One of the really cool things about this Tonneau Cover is it comes all pre-assembled, so you don't have to build this before you can put it on your truck. It does also come with a foam seal. So that way if you have a bed liner in your truck, then you have a little bit of a gappage when you put this on. You can apply this to the cover. Nice thing about this, is you put it on the cover, not on your truck, so you can take the cover off, this goes with it. Also you have some foam pads that go on the sides of the box where the clamps attach to help protect your paint. So that wet clamps don't rub over time and wear the paint off. And for extra security, a lock is included to secure the tunnel clamp near the tailgate to keep others out of the truck bed. One of the nice things about this coming all pre-assembled is that it's easy to handle and to install onto your vehicle. So what we're going to do, is we're just going to grab the tunnel, and we're going to set it up here on the back of the truck. And then what makes it really nice is that we could slide it to the front. And pretty much set this thing in place where we want it to go. Make sure that we're even on both sides. A good line up point is a lot of these newer trucks you got, ones that come with bed caps, have lines on the bed caps. You can kind of use those as your line-up point, okay. We have this one looking pretty good about where we're wanting to set. So we're going to un-clip it. And then fold it out. Once we get it folded out, we're going to make sure that it is in fact sitting where we are going to want it to sit. And that looks pretty darn good right there. So we're going to roll it back up, attach our locks. All right, once our locks are locked in place, then we can fold it back out. Open the tailgate. Now these are the locks I was talking about. It has the same style lock on the front as it does in the back. They snap in place here to hold them up out of the way. Just pull it down. Now when you attach these... and make sure that the handle is in this position like this, because that's the release. And then you pull them down like that to lock them in. And also when you got them in the release position, that's when you can turn them either in or out to make your adjustments so that when you get a nice, tight, fit seal around the top of your vent.
