How to install Honda Emblem Dual LED (Dual tone white and red)

this is a Dual color (Red+white) LED Honda emblem light for both running and break lights for my 1994 Honda Civic EG8 model.. unfortunately, the seller did not have the LED lamp for Honda Civic EG (1992-1995) emblem size.. so i had to get-rid of the original Civic emblem from the back of my car.. and purchase (1) the Honda Accord 2006 emblem AND (2) the Emblem LED lamp size of Honda Accord 2006.. i measured the size of the original 1995 Civic emblem, and i found that the 2006 Accord's emblem to be the nearest in size.. only few millimetres larger.. now, where to find one of those things?.. depends on your location.. i got mine on http://www.ebay.com by making a simple search for: "Honda original emblem" and "Honda Dual LED emblem" ` in 2010-2012.. this exact item was WIDELY sold over eBay.. there were dozens and dozens of sellers from all over the world who would sell this very same product at competing prices.. but as years went-on, it got harder and harder to find the same item on eBay.. in 2015, there was only one seller from Spain who had a wide collection for different makes and models but now in 2017, i couldn't find any seller who sells this exact item.. however, there are a number of eBay sellers who only offer single-colour LED emblems (not dual colour like in this video).. you only have a choice between red, blue or white LED.. such sellers are: http://www.ebay.com/itm/pop-item-brand-new-3-Colors-Car-led-emblem-led-mark-car-led-logo-for-Honda-CIVIC-/232289644274?var=&hash=item36158aaef2:m:mdL8ab_UFPxV7dkc4fNlOVQ http://www.ebay.com/itm/new-car-LED-badge-light-car-led-emblem-car-logo-for-HONDA-CIVIC-multi-colors-/232289644303?var=&hash=item36158aaf0f:m:mXDVGka80yhxPw1TMQSoB0w i am not affiliated with the above sellers, and i have never dealt with them before.. and *again* those sellers only offer single colour LED badges (not dual colour LEDs).. also, i should probably mention that some countries and some states have strict traffic rules against unauthorized LEDs on a car.. in the comments, someone has mentioned that such dual lights LEDs are illegal in Texas -- i dunno.. so you probably need to check with your local rules and regulations before purchasing and installing one on your car.. ` the good news, every once in a while, one seller appears on eBay selling the Dual light LED product for a limited time and a limited amount; so keep on searching every few weeks.. and.. you may also want to try other keywords like "badge" or "Logo" instead of word "Emblem".. in real life, i have seen other Dual LED emblem for late models of Chevy, Toyota and BMW that amazingly were available in a nearby car accessory shop.. so before hitting the internet, you may want to check up the shop next to you first.. it is worth to mention that they usually have the knowledge and the connection on how and on where to obtain such rare items; it won't hurt to ask.. ` eBay was my first choice.. but you can try other online shops as well like http://www.amazon.com , http://Alibaba.com and even Google but somehow the search engine is a bit screwy; so have patience.. ` Warning: i used the Paint-Thinner because i was impatient and foolish.. you may say i didn't fully think this project through, and most of you were right.. Thinner can eat through plastic, rubber and the paint.. i am NOT a seller of this product, a mechanic nor an electrician.. i am actually an Orthopaedics surgeon at a district hospital, and i came back home late at night after 10pm to find my eBay purchase had just arrived.. at work, i have a full access to 70% alcohol that would've been perfect for the job, and certainly be a better option than using a paint-thinner for cleaning; but i had none at my home.. i believe i edited this video at 4 or 5am that very night.. you MAY need some expertise to install things on your own.. if you had any doubts, DO NOT attempt installing this on your own, just go and seek help at the nearest Car Workshop -- no one will think any less of you.. ` for some of you jerks out there, Sylia Stingray II (that's what i call my Honda Civic) is my first car that i bought in 1996 when i was a medical student at IIUM.. i love this car, and i take her out regularly on weekends.. it is a relationship between a guy and his first car.. but at work, i drive a recent model American car.. as an Orthopaedic surgeon (a medical officer) at a local district hospital, i also have an image to maintain.. my name is Dr Hani Mador MBBS.. but here everyone calls me Hani.. take care :)
