How To Force Turn On Sharp LC-52LE832U That Won't Power On

This has the blinking light problem. One short blink, then one long. Hold volume down, channel up, and power, and it will turn on and work like normal. I did notice sometimes the backlight would flash during use, but it was fast and not very often.
