Sometimes, this can happen when you copy a Quicktime Player created .mov file onto a Windows Laptop. For my example, my faulty green screen preview happens when I copy the .mov file from my Mac to my Windows laptop. I fix the issue by using Handbrake. Handbrake: http://handbrake.fr/ After installing Handbrake (Open Source Video Transcoder), I can convert the .mov file into a newly reencoded .mp4 file with the same dimensions. The quality may be a very miniscule amount of less quality. Source, open file. Set destination of the .mp4. Optional, Check large file size or web optimized. Start.
