How to Fix Broken Marvel Legends Captain America Shield

Oh no! I broke Marvel Legends Captain America’s shield! The shield’s little clasp that clips on Captain America’s wrist broke in my hand. I’m going to try to fix this Marvel Legends accessory with some 18 gauge aluminum wire, pliers, wire cutters, black glue sticks, and low temperature glue gun. The black glue sticks are left over from my Venom tendrils tutorial and can be purchased at Amazon at: http://amzn.to/1VTvDIN I’m going to start by removing the old broken clip from Captain America’s Shield by heating up the shield in some warm water for a minute and then pulling the broken piece out with pliers.. I’m going shape a replacement clip and peg out of the wire. To ensure that the shield will stay secure on my action figure’s back, I use a thin layer of the black glue on the peg. The repaired shield clasp can be bent around Captain America’s wrist.
