When you vogue there is a lot of emphasis in your hands. So stretch out your hands beforehand by doing finger and wrist warm-ups. In hand illusions, you want your hands to look as fluid as possible. There's a lot of face framing and miming.
1. Start with your wrists crossed against each other in front of you and fingers pointing down.
2. The top hand will come up towards your face while the bottom hand is reaching out away from your face. Keep your wrists together as you form the circle.
3. Move your wrists above and under each other in a continuous figure eight. As you practice, try to do the wrist movements faster since it helps build the illusion.
Practice this same wrist motions in the opposite direction.
4. Once you have the wrist motions down, move your legs to accompany them. Move your little is tight march, step from left to right. In between each step, tap your foot twice.
