This video, the third in a three-part series, walks through the assembly of the multi-material Lithophone birthday gift.
I recommend watching parts 1 and 2 prior to watching this video.
It highlights that by combining deferent materials it is possible to build a wider range of projects with more interesting characteristics.
A Lithophane is an image 3d carved into a flat surface and then light from behind. The completed image looks like a black and white slide. Lithophanes were first produced in the 1830s.
