How to Crochet Hat Inspired by Despicable Me Minion Beanies / Video 1

In this video you will learn how to make these cute minion beanies inspired by the movie "Despicable Me". I used a medium weight yarn, RedHeart Supersaver in solid colors of: Brilliant yellow, scraps of white, brown, black and gray. You can choose whatever yarn you prefer just be sure that it is a medium weight (4 on label). Infant- Size G Hook, Babies Size H hook, Toddler Size I hook. To crochet a beanie for an older children/ teens and women ; use a size J hook and a medium weight worsted yarn. Also work round 4 as follows: Ch 3, dc into next 3 st, *2dc, dc in next 4 st*, repeat from * to *, work 1dc in last 3 st, sl st into 3rd ch. For Men you can use a size K hook. Also, you will work round 4 as follows: ch 3, 1dc first 3 stitches , 2dc in next, sl st into 3rd ch. The pattern is almost the same for all sizes. Only the size of hook and round 4 changes.
