how to change the thermocouple on a boiler and how to light a pilot light

Learn with me how to light a pilot light on a boiler and change the thermocouple to get it to work. This is a real easy cheap fix to get your gas boiler heating your house again spend $15-$20 on a part or $100-$400 for someone to do the same job. The temperature dropped to below 40 degrees in mid October. When I turned the heat up to my surprise nothing happened. I had forgotten I was suppose to fix the boiler at the end of winter. The thermocouple went again. Real Quick Fix : I borrowed the thermocouple from my hot water tank and swapped it out on my boiler.
