This video explains how you can immigrate to Alberta, Canada through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.
In addition to the federal immigration streams, Alberta offers the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.
You may be eligible for the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program if you have skills for which Alberta is looking, in order to support the province's economic growth.
The three streams of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program include:
Employer Driven Stream
Strategic Recruitment Stream
Self-Employed Farmer Stream
Employer Driven Stream
An Alberta employer is required to offer a permanent, full-time job offer to a candidate who falls in one of three categories:
- Skilled Worker. This category is defined by the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list. Your job offer must be in either a Skill Type 0 (managerial occupation), Skill Level A (professional occupation) or Skill Level B (technical occupation and skilled trade).
- International Graduate. Your job offer must be in either a Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or Skill Level B according to the NOC list, and you must have recently graduated from a Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Semi-Skilled Worker. Your job offer must be in either a Skill Level C or Skill Level D according to the NOC list, although only certain industries apply. These include Food and Beverage Processing, Hotel and Lodging, Manufacturing, Long-Haul Trucking, and Foodservices.
